Remember, Deferred “Real” Pricing tracks the carry costs of grain we are holding to place spot pricing against deferred delivery bids to help deduce the most attractive delivery windows – it’s why J-MAS sales averages often appear lower than what you actually contracted and cashed out at as these costs are “hidden” costs you pay through other means such as Opportunity Cost, Infrastructure Costs and Storage Risk.
